cure by design The American Cancer Society saves lives and creates a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back. The American Cancer Society is a community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service. Your generosity enables the American Cancer Society to fund research in Central Virginia at the Massey Cancer Center, University of VA and at other cancer research centers. Your support also helps provide free wigs to cancer patients, and rides for patients to and from their treatment in their Road to Recovery program. Free services such as these, along with the only 24/7 toll-free Cancer Information Center in the country, have a positive impact on the community in which we live and work, and we need your help to continue to offer these programs in Virginia! To find out more about the American Cancer Society, visit www.cancer.org.

cure by design Cure By Design is a unique fashion show event that brings together nationally known New York and local Richmond fashion designers, retailers and vendors, and cancer survivors modeling the latest fashion trends for a fun-filled evening dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society. They will start off the night with a cocktail party, then a lively fashion show highlighting their cancer survivor models wearing the latest fashions, and end with a birthday celebration for all participants. Both silent and live auctions will be conducted throughout the night. Visit www.curebydesign.org for tickets or ways to get involved.
