Care Advantage, Inc is celebrating its Silver Anniversary in business! For the past 25 years, Care Advantage has been offering home health care services in the privacy of your home or care facility. Care Advantage was founded on April 15th 1988 by Deborah Johnston, RN after she began to see people being discharged home from the hospitals quicker and sicker. Care Advantage’s first office opened in Richmond, Virginia in 1988 and the first branch location opened three years later in Colonial Heights. Our President, Debbie Johnston, will be featured on ABCs Secret Millionaire in the spring! Secret Millionaire is a nationally televised reality show where millionaires around the United States are chosen to spend a week in the country's poorest areas and ultimately reward some unsung community heroes with thousands of dollars of their own money. The millionaires leave the comfort of their homes and keep their true identities hidden while residing in local housing on welfare-level wages. At the end of the journey, they'll reveal their true identity and donate their own money to these local heroes. Join us and our President, Debbie Johnston, as we raise money for the American Cancer Society at Cure by Design again this year! As the 2012 Honorary Chair and a Sponsor last year, our President and company have fallen in love with this event and are a big part of it for 2013. Cure by Design Fashion Show Fundraiser starts off with a cocktail party, then a lively fashion show highlighting cancer survivor models wearing the latest fashions, and ending with a birthday celebration. Both silent and live auctions will be conducted. This year’s event will be held at The John Marshall Ballroom – Downtown Richmond on Saturday, September 21, 2012 at 6:00pm.
